2025 Love Your Block Mini-Grant Application

Love Your Block is a community-driven initiative that empowers San Bernardino residents to take an active role in revitalizing their neighborhoods. Through mini grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000, residents can bring their ideas to life—whether it’s creating public art, cleaning up vacant lots, or enhancing shared spaces. By providing direct support, tools, and resources, the program fosters collaboration, reduces blight, improves safety, and strengthens community pride. Together, we can build a more vibrant, beautiful, and connected San Bernardino—one block at a time.

Getting your Application ready to submit
There are several document you will be asked for as you go through the application. If you do not have them at time of application submittal, please have them ready by March 31, 2025 and submit them via email. Items marked with an * are only as applicable.

• Budget Proposal
• Project Site Photo
• Sketches or Renderings of proposed art projects
• Proof of 501(c)3 (Non-Profit Status Determination letter from the IRS)*
• Property Owner Authorization from the property owner
• Letters of Support from community members or organizations
• Any outside partnership donations or supplemental funding you have or may receive

Love your Block Mini-Grant Award Amounts
Grants will be awarded in varying amounts: $1,000, $1,500, $3,000 & $5,000
