MONTEREY PARK VICTIMS’ FUND RECEIVES $100,000 CONTRIBUTION FROM PECHANGA
Organizers of the Monterey Park Lunar New Year Victims Fund have received a $100,000 contribution from the Pechanga Band of Indians. “The Monterey Park community welcomed Pechanga into their festivities many years ago,” said Pechanga Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro. “Pechanga has made great friends and acquaintances through Monterey Park’s Lunar New Year Festival. Like so many throughout California, we are deeply saddened by this tragedy and extend our deepest condolences and support for the victims.” Pechanga has already contributed 100,000 and if you too would like to help out, please donate using the link below.
