Riverside County

CORONA

The city is hosting free movies in the park through Friday, Aug. 9. The locations will rotate by day of the week. Films will start at 8:15 p.m.

  • Mondays: Promenade Park, 615 Richey St.
  • Tuesdays: Ridgeline Park, 2850 Ridgeline Drive
  • Wednesdays: Stagecoach Park, 2125 Stagecoach Road
  • Fridays: Spyglass Park, 1790 Spyglass Drive

Guests should bring snacks, chairs and blankets.

EASTVALE

The city’s 2024 Sunset Cinema Drive-In Movie Theater Series continues into early October.

Double features are scheduled for the first Saturday of each month at Riverview Recreation Park, 14600 Baron Drive. The cost is $20 per car. Movies begin at 6 p.m.

  • Saturday, Sept. 7: “Coco” and “La Bamba”

JURUPA VALLEY

“Back to the Future” will be screened Tuesday, July 30, at Shadow Rock Park.

Admission to the 7 p.m. movie will be free. Food will be on sale.

Parking is free, but limited. The event is sponsored by the Jurupa Area Recreation and Park District.

The park is at 6598 20th St., Jurupa Valley.

LAKE ELSINORE

Summerlake Park, 900 West Broadway, will host a free movie in the park. Family activities will take place before the movie at 7:30 p.m. Guests should bring chairs and blankets.

MENIFEE

The Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District is screening free movies in the park in Menifee.

The monthly screenings are at two sites in the city. The events will include jumpers and free popcorn.

MENIFEE

City residents get a say in what movie will play Friday, July 19, at Underwood Park.

It will be the city’s second Movie in the Park + Go Skate Day. The event starts at 7 p.m., but the movie will screen at dusk. Activities and food vendors also will be at the park, 28251 Rouse Road. The movie choices are “Wish,” “Wonka,” or “Trolls Band Together.”

MORENO VALLEY

The MoVal Movies summer film series is underway.

Movies will be screened at 7 p.m. at the city’s new Civic Center Amphitheater. Guests should bring chairs, blankets and snacks. Admission is free, but food will be on sale.

Chino City Hall will host the city’s free summer movies series.

On Friday nights, the Chino Summer Nights events will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn and will include food vendors and informational booths. Guests should bring lawn chairs and blankets. City Hall is at 13220 Central Ave.

Dive-in movies are returning to the city this year.

  • Thursday, July 18: Dog Days of Summer Movie Night. The “Secret Life of Pets” is the movie. The event will include an ice cream social for pets and owners from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Thursday, Aug. 1: Kids Night at the Park. The movie will be “Kung Fu Panda 4” and the event includes a kids’ swap meet and crafts from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
